OCZ Vertex 2 Extended 120 GB SSD im Macbook Pro 4,1 (Early 2008). Trotz dass die SSD durch das SATA 150GB nichtmal mit der Hälfte ihrer Leistung läuft, ist das Arbeiten auf dem Mac sehr flüssig möglich. Seems to be an even race but anyway. Too bad OS X hasn’t got TRIM though…
@thiage: It is really fast. An keep in mind that this SSD is running in half of it’s speed in the 4,1! The 4,1 MBP only has SATA 150. I have around 115-120MB/s read/write. This SSD could run 250MB/s. But is still really fast. I think in case of speed it does not matter which one you take. But the Intel has a better garbage collection. So if you can get the Intel on a reasonable price, take that one.
