After you make some distance between the screen and the laptop’s main body, the problem dissapears. Looks like some part in the main body emits (electro)magnetic field, that disrupts the touchscreen operation
it’s actually the calibration.. you must have calibrated your pen input. just go to „tablet pc settings“ and click the RESET button right beside the calibrate button. it happened to me and that was what i did. hope this helps!
The problem is the hard drive is not properly shielded. That’s right where the hard drive is located on that machine. When you move the screen away from the lower chassis, the problem disappears. You can fix this problem one of two ways:
1. replace the hard disk drive with an SSD
2. place a piece of magnetic shielding (thinish gauge aluminum will work) under that part of the screen when using the device.
i think it’s a matter of calibration – i owned a tx2z up until about a week ago and best buy is replacing it (it was a lemon) so my brand new tm2t will arrive within a few days. from my experience, i can say with a decent amount of certainty it is calibration. if recalibrating it doesn’t work then you may need to replace the touch panel (the tx2 touch panel costs about $250 since they replaced mine twice at their expense)
it doesn’t look like you’re holding the pen directly onto the screen… the screen can detect when the pen is close and get an approximate location, but of course it won’t be right on when you’re not touching the screen….
Not sure but I think its because the HDD is underneath that part of the machine which could be giving off an EMF causing interference since the wacom works using an electromagnetic system.
Viel Spass damit !

hi,
i’m holding the pen as near as possible. the effect is not related to the distance of the pen at all.

oh lol ok 🙂

@jeanarthurable i was referring to thehazymind’s comment lol
don’t you see the discrepancy between pen and cursor?
yep, i think you’re right.
I believe it is interferens from the computer. The same thing happens on an extern Wacom tablet if it’s to close to something else that is electric.
yeah? then unfail yourself and explain it to me 😉
you fail for not understanding the fail
when you are outside the video it says fail when watchin it says part
weird
how does it fail??? seems to work to me
